How to make the best chicken bone broth

Hi All

I hope you are well. I'm here in Los Angeles having an awesome warm "winter" and I am so grateful for that.  But meanwhile, I make bone broth at home all year for all sort of reasons. Here are the reasons why.

Treat leaky gut syndrome
Overcome food intolerances and allergies
Improve joint health
Reduce cellulite
Boost immune system

And taste great!

* 2 stalks of celery

* 2 zucchini peeled and cut into three pieces

* 2 medium carrots, peeled and cut into three pieces

* 2pounds of assorted bones (I use organic chicken feet and neck from the whole food market. )

* 2 cloves of garlic

* water (enough to cover the bones but not all the way up)

* Sea salt( I used pink Himalayan pink salt)

* 3Tbs of apple cider vinegar

* Black pepper to taste Instructions

1. Toss the veggies in the pressure cooker (make sure it’s at least 6-quarts), and toss in your bones.

2. Add salt, vinegar and pepper.

3. Add water.

4. Then, cover and lock the lid,...

6 things you shouldn't eat if you want to lose weight

I hear sometimes people are complaining that they spent a lot of time in the gym working out so hard but they have not seen the result they want. But it turns out, they think they are burning a lot of calories because they did 1-hour cardio; they give themselves permission to eat A LOT. Or they just simply eat a lot of food that are not so good to eat. What are some of those foods that are not so good to eat if you want to lose weight?

1, Canola oil, corn oil, soy bean oil  all vegetable oils

Canola oil contains hydrogenated oils, which cause inflammation throughout the entire body disrupting your hormones and metabolism. And 90% of canola oil is genetically modified (GMO), which means they are hard wired with pesticides that cause cellular toxicity, which destroys your bodies metabolism and overall health.

Instead: Use coconut oil, grass-fed butter to boost your metabolism. Coconut oil is mostly medium chain triglycerides (MCTs). It has been shown that breaking down...

Why Modern Relationships Are Falling Apart So Easily Today

I am in the mood for talking about relationships today….I found this article “Why Modern Relationships Are Falling Apart So Easily Today” I’ve been divorced for five years and I find myself doing and thinking the things that this article is addressing. Basically, it sums up all that today’s relationships. There is a sweet lady I love who just turned 80. A couple of years ago, she lost her husband of almost 60 years from Alzheimer. She told me she got married so young, she cried every night in the beginning and called her mom and asked her mom if she could come home. She said she was so scared…..Now her husband is gone, and she told me that she misses him so much and she still loves him so deeply…..  This to me sounds like true love.

She didn’t have a choice to leave him, at least that was her reality and leaving him wasn’t even an option for her, But yet, she told me once she got to know him better, she started...

One thing you can do to improve your life today

Hi, everyone. This is Tori from I have a question for you. When was last time you had a good night sleep like you can truly say you slept like a baby? Personally, I find myself waking up at least twice at night, and I wish I can get better sleep. If you are like me, all the moms out there, I am sure you can relate it. We are so used to wake up many times at night ever since we got our kids, even now, the slightest noise still wakes me up at night. So what are the benefit of getting a good night sleep? We know sleeping is important for us but do you know how important? I will tell you all about it today’s episode.

1, Sleep strengthens your immune system.
Studies show that people who don’t get quality sleep or enough sleep are more likely to get sick after being exposed to a virus, such as a common cold virus. Lack of sleep can also affect how fast you recover if you do get sick.

2, Sleep boost your mood
I don’t need to explain too much...

Why Women Should Lift Weights

I am pretty sure that you’ve heard that someone’s grandma or your neighbor fell and broke their hip or arm. When you wake up in the morning, all of your joints are stiff and your back hurts. If you are like me, you notice your metabolism is slowing down or almost nonexistent

Today I want to talk about why we need strength training now more than ever.

1, For your Bones

As we get older, your bones start to lose density and bone mass and becoming weak. Bone loss increases after menopause when estrogen levels drop sharply.

As a result, you may break your bones from a fall or even from sneezing. Studies suggest 1 in 2 women age 50 and older will break a bone due to osteoporosis, which is a bone disease that makes your bones weak and brittle. That is insane!

Like muscles, bones are living tissue that responds to exercise by becoming stronger. Weight-bearing exercise is the best for your bones because it forces you to work against gravity. Examples include walking,...
